stem the verb stem remains in bare form e.g. 'eat' becomes as in example
(25c) and in case of consonant final stem, the epenthetic vowel - occurs between
consonant final stem and the present tense morpheme, resulting in as
shown in (25a). But in case of past, turns into by dipthongization process
as in (24c) and becomes as shown in (24d).
Here are the examples to illustrate present tense:
