In (29a) the focus marker particle भी /b ̤ i/ 'also' follows अपने के /ʌpne ke/ 'you

(dative)' as well as ऊ लोग /u loɡ/ 'they (nominative)'. Likewise, in (29b) it follows

उनका के /unkɑ ke/ 'him (dative)'. In both the cases, the focus particle follows

pronominal referents in (29a-b). It may also focus an incomplete action encoded in
infinitive form of the verb, as in (30a-c):
