In terms of host+verbaliser, Bhojpuri has a number of हो ɦo-conjuncts, as पार
हो /pɑr ɦo/ 'pass/go across', भBट हो /b ̤ ẽʈ ɦo/ 'meet', सुV हो /suru ɦo/ 'begin', Rेम हो /prem
ɦo/ 'fall in love', दश_न हो /dʌrsʌn ɦo/ 'appear', अंत हो /ʌnt ɦo/ 'end', रवाना हो /rʌwɑnɑ
ɦo/ 'move/set for', देर हो /der ɦo/ 'delay', जमा हो /jʌmɑ ɦo/ 'gather', जjदी हो /jʌldi ho/
'haste' and so on. Many of these conjuncts consist of the same host element as some of
the कर kʌr-conjuncts but they are not derivations because the meaning of the
corresponding हो ɦo-conjunct is not necessarily passive. Moreover, they stand in the
similar relationship to one another as any other transitive/intransitive pairs with or
without a common base segment, as shown in (36a-b).

हमनी दूनू जने /ɦʌmni dunu jʌne/ 'we both' in (37a) and मोहन /moɦʌn/ 'Mohan' in (37b)
with many of the कर kʌr- and हो ɦo-conjuncts for which they are specified, some of
these indirect objects can be described as 'human dative'.
