particles ही /ɦi/ and भी /b ̤ i/ respectively. Nepali exhibits -अइ /-ʌi/ in exclusive

                           environment but a separate particle पिन /pʌni/ in the inclusive one.
                           f. Pronominals

                                 Pronouns fall in minor word classes cross-linguistically. Though NIA
                           pronominals are not identical for all languages, they are striking phonologically.

                                 Table 15.12 exhibits occurance of म /m/ as a common phenomenon in first
                           person singular in all the IA languages where it is final in Bhojpuri and Maithili but

                           initial in others. Likewise, initial ह /ɦ/ and medial म /m/ are common in Bhojpuri with

                           its neighbours except Awadhi and Hindi where म /m/ is final in first person plural. In

                           the second person, त /t/ is common in the second person in both the numbers. In the
                           third person, ऊ /u/ is common in intitial position in singular except Hindi. Besides

                           these, the other phonogical occurings in pronominals among IA languages are slao
                           similar. Thus, the IA languages exhibit striking similarities in pronominal forms.
